Scientists uncovered a new dinosaur species, Duonychus tsogtbaatari, in Mongolia's Gobi Desert. This unique therizinosaur lived about 90-95 million years ago and had two clawed fingers instead of the typical three, with claws measuring nearly a foot long used for grasping branches and vegetation. Weighing around 575 pounds and standing about 10 feet tall, Duonychus adds to evidence of varied finger counts among theropod dinosaurs.
