Raspberry Pi introduces a $25 PoE Injector, powering devices remotely via Ethernet cables.
Raspberry Pi has launched a $25 Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) Injector that supplies power through Ethernet cables, ideal for devices in hard-to-reach locations. It supports IEEE 802.3af (13W) and IEEE 802.11at (25W) standards and works with Raspberry Pi models from 2018, excluding the Pi Zero 2 W. The device acts as a Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) for non-PoE switches and is the smallest and most efficient PD accessory available. It requires an IEC c13 power cable, which is sold separately.
