The Dharavi Redevelopment Project in Mumbai has completed a survey of over 63,000 tenements, expanding beyond the 2007-08 survey to include upper-floor and religious structures. The project aims to build nearly 150,000 new tenements, ensuring housing for all Dharavi residents. Ineligible residents will be relocated to modern townships within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region with improved amenities.
