Motorcyclist Brian McGill, 59, died in a crash near Hamilton Bridge; road closed for over eight hours.

Brian McGill, a 59-year-old from Dailly, died after a motorcycle crash on Friday near Hamilton Bridge in South Ayrshire at around 4:55 PM. His KTM 1290 Superduke crashed on the B741 road, which was closed for over eight hours. Police are investigating the incident and have requested any witnesses or those with footage to contact them.
