On March 24, 2025, a motorcycle was discovered in a body of water near Highway 308 and Pee Dee Road North in Galivants Ferry, South Carolina. Horry County Fire Rescue and police responded to the scene, with dive teams confirming no person was with the motorcycle and no injuries were reported. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is now investigating the incident.
