Mexican national arrested in Bakersfield with over 118,000 fentanyl pills and a kilogram of fentanyl.

Misael Duarte-Parra, a 41-year-old Mexican national, was arrested in Bakersfield on March 22, 2025, for allegedly possessing over 118,000 fentanyl-laced pills, a kilogram of powdered fentanyl, cocaine, and a large sum of money believed to be from drug sales. The arrest was made by the Kern County High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force following a search warrant at his home. Duarte-Parra was booked into the Lerdo Justice Facility on charges related to drug possession and sales.
