Masdar acquires nearly half of four Spanish solar plants for €184M, expanding in Europe.

Masdar, a UAE renewable energy company, is acquiring a 49.99% stake in four Spanish solar plants from Endesa for €184 million, pending regulatory approvals. This deal, which supports Spain’s and the EU's decarbonization goals, marks Masdar’s expansion in Europe, particularly in the Iberian Peninsula. The plants have a total capacity of 446MW, and the acquisition includes power purchase agreements for 15 years.
