Kinston police arrested Devante Bruton, 25, after he resisted capture and pushed an officer.

On March 19, Kinston Police arrested 25-year-old Devante Bruton, who was wanted for other charges. After being spotted on Independence Street, Bruton tried to evade capture by hiding and running into a grocery store. He was caught after pushing an officer. Bruton was charged with resisting arrest and assaulting a government official and was booked into Lenoir County Jail.
