Kalamazoo County deputy shoots and kills attacking dog during traffic stop for stolen license plate.

A Kalamazoo County deputy shot and killed a dog that attacked him during a traffic stop for a vehicle with a stolen license plate. The deputy was not injured. The driver was arrested on unrelated warrants, and charges for possession of stolen property and the driver's suspended license are expected to be filed. The incident is under investigation.
