The fire, which started in an exterior stairwell, caused significant damage to the rear of the building and dining area but did not result in any injuries. The New Orleans Fire Department responded at 2:30 a.m. and brought the fire under control by 3:39 a.m. No cause has been determined yet, though a smaller fire was extinguished by staff at the same location on Sunday night.
