Crusoe Energy, known for using flared gas from oil fields to mine bitcoin, has sold its mining business to NYDIG to focus on building AI infrastructure. The deal includes over 425 modular data centers and Crusoe's gas-capturing technology. Crusoe will retain a stake in the combined business and aims to build one of the world's most powerful GPU clusters for AI, seeing a larger opportunity in the AI sector.
