Man arrested for shooting three at Illinois gathering, charged with aggravated battery.
In Joliet, Illinois, a 34-year-old man named Michael Gallegos was arrested for shooting three people during a house gathering on March 22. The victims include a 38-year-old man with life-threatening injuries, a 55-year-old woman shot in the ankle, and a 32-year-old woman with a graze wound to her thigh. Gallegos was apprehended the next day during a traffic stop and charged with aggravated battery with a firearm and unlawful possession of a weapon and ammunition by a felon.
