Isar Aerospace, a Munich-based aerospace startup, is preparing for its first test flight of the Spectrum rocket from Andøya island in Norway.
Scheduled for Monday between 12:30 pm and 3:30 pm local time, the 28-meter, two-stage rocket is designed for launching small and medium-sized satellites.
The company aims to gather data and experience from this test, which is not expected to reach orbit.
Isar Aerospace has raised over $435 million and plans to manufacture up to 40 rockets per year.
The company is separate from the European Space Agency.
