Benson Boone's "Beautiful Things" reached the #1 spot on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart after a record-breaking 55-week climb, the longest in the chart's history since 1961.
The song, which debuted on March 16, 2024, surpassed Matchbox Twenty's "If You're Gone," which held the previous record of 42 weeks.
Other long climbers include Post Malone's "Circles," Maren Morris' "The Bones," and Elton John/Dua Lipa's "Cold Heart."
Since "Beautiful Things," Boone has also hit with "Slow It Down" and "Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else."
