Sydney manhunt ends with arrest of James French in connection to partially buried human remains found.

A week-long manhunt in Sydney ended with the arrest of James French, a suspect in the discovery of partially buried human remains of a missing 39-year-old man. The victim was last seen by his family the night before his remains were found on March 14. French was arrested after being found sleeping in a car at a property police had previously searched. Although a post-mortem examination was inconclusive, the man is believed to have died from blunt force trauma. Two other individuals known to the victim were previously arrested but have been released pending further investigation. Police continue to seek more information from several other people.
