RSS leader opposes Karnataka's plan for religion-based quotas, citing constitutional prohibitions.
RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale stated that the Indian Constitution does not allow for religion-based quotas, opposing Karnataka's plan to provide a 4% reservation for Muslims in government contracts.
He emphasized that previous attempts at similar reservations were rejected by courts and that such quotas go against the Constitution's architect, B.R.
Ambedkar.
Hosabale also highlighted the importance of figures who fought against invaders, praising Rajput king Maharana Pratap.
