Ohio's Department of Transportation (ODOT) has launched an Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) division to develop and integrate new aircraft technologies, such as electric vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) vehicles.
The division, located at the National Advanced Air Mobility Center of Excellence in Springfield, aims to lead in the manufacturing and testing of these technologies.
Led by Robert Tanner, the AAM division plans to create jobs and partner with various entities to advance air mobility.
