Former New Zealand charity worker pleads guilty to stealing over $1 million for gambling.
Iesha Warren, a former employee of the Te Roopu Āwhina Ki Porirua Trust in New Zealand, pleaded guilty to stealing over $1 million from the charity over two years.
Warren, who worked in financial roles, committed the fraud by creating fake supplier invoices and making unauthorized transactions, some of which were used for gambling.
The trust, which aids needy children and families, lost $1,063,674.77 due to Warren's actions.
She will be sentenced in July.
