A $51 million lawsuit alleges that Dr. Edward Gary Edwards, the chief medical officer at Oregon's MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility, sexually abused ten boys between 2000 and 2008. The suit, representing 30 people, claims Dr. Edwards, nicknamed "Dr. Cold Fingers," had access to over 10,000 children during his 40-year tenure. The Oregon Youth Authority has declined to comment. The case also led to the termination of the OYA's director and the appointment of a new acting director.
