Kraken Robotics, a marine technology firm, has agreed to buy 3D at Depth, a US underwater LiDAR technology company, for $17 million in cash.
This acquisition will enhance Kraken's existing SeaVision laser scanning technology and expand its service offerings in measurement, inspection, and asset monitoring.
