Mason Lukeman sentenced to a year in prison for severely abusing his dog, Hope, causing severe injuries.
Mason Lukeman, a 23-year-old from Clacton, Essex, was sentenced to one year in prison and banned from keeping animals for life after pleading guilty to abusing his dog, Mulla, now renamed Hope.
The dog was rescued with severe injuries, including broken bones and a fractured skull, and had to be treated at the RSPCA Finsbury Park Animal Hospital.
Lukeman also paid a £154 victim surcharge.
