Dr. Ellie Atkins, a trainee surgeon at Addenbrooke's Hospital, has been awarded the prestigious Hunterian Lectureship by the Royal College of Surgeons of England for her research on treating patients with chronic limb-threatening ischemia, a severe form of peripheral arterial disease.
