Tully No.6 steam locomotive returns to service at Illawarra Light Railway Museum after years of repair.
The Tully No.6 steam locomotive, offline since 2015 due to boiler corrosion, will resume service at the Illawarra Light Railway Museum on March 9.
Led by retired Navy petty officer Trevor George, repairs were delayed by COVID-19 restrictions.
Built in 1949, the locomotive was purchased by the museum in 1972 for $100.
Visitors can enjoy classic cars, vintage machinery, and miniature train rides.
