The B.R.A.K.E.S.
program, which teaches defensive driving to teens, has cut crash rates among its participants by 64%, according to a University of North Carolina study.
Founded by drag racing champion Doug Herbert, the program has been supported by Kia for 12 years, expanding its reach across the U.S. More than 150,000 teens and parents have joined the initiative.
