An October 2024 report by Carbon Tracker warns that the global LNG market may be oversupplied by the end of the decade, posing economic risks to British Columbia's expanding LNG production plans. As B.C. increases its output, global LNG production is expected to level off, potentially decreasing demand for B.C. 's LNG.
