SBA plans to move offices out of six "sanctuary cities" due to immigration law non-compliance.
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) plans to relocate its offices out of six "sanctuary cities," including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, New York, and Seattle, due to their non-compliance with federal immigration laws.
SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler announced the move, stating that the new locations will be more cost-effective and accessible.
The SBA also introduced a new policy requiring citizenship verification for loan applicants and lenders to ensure businesses are not owned by individuals in the country illegally.
