North Korea reopens to Western tourists with Pyongyang marathon bookings, excluding South Koreans.
Koryo Tours, a China-based agency, has resumed booking for the Pyongyang International Marathon on April 6, marking North Korea's reopening to foreign tourists since the pandemic.
The marathon celebrates the birthday of North Korea's late founder, Kim Il-sung.
Tour packages include visits to Pyongyang landmarks and cost 2,195 euros each.
This is the first time in five years Western tourists can visit North Korea, following the country's lifting of the ban on foreign tourists.
South Koreans cannot travel there due to the lack of diplomatic ties.
