Kashmir government reports over 32,000 job vacancies, collects Rs 14.17 crore in exam fees.
The Jammu and Kashmir government reported 32,474 vacancies across its departments as of January 31, 2025.
Since Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's government took office on October 16, 2024, 3,727 of these vacancies have been forwarded to the Service Selection Board and Public Service Commission.
The government has collected Rs 14.17 crore in exam fees from candidates and has no plans to waive job application fees.
