IAG reports a 22.1% rise in profit to €4.3 billion in 2024, despite Aer Lingus's decline.

International Airlines Group (IAG), parent company of Aer Lingus, reported a 22.1% increase in operating profit to €4.3 billion in 2024, attributing the rise to a successful transformation program. Despite IAG's strong performance, Aer Lingus experienced an 8.9% decline in operating profits to €205 million, due to industrial action and increased competition. IAG carried 122 million passengers, a 5.6% increase from 2023, and plans to pay a final dividend of €435 million to shareholders.
