Former UK PM Rishi Sunak launches charity to improve math skills across all ages in the UK.

Rishi Sunak and his wife, Akshata Murty, have launched The Richmond Project, a charity focused on improving numeracy in the UK. Based in North Yorkshire, it aims to help children struggling with math, families lacking number confidence, and adults who never mastered basic math skills. The charity will support innovative solutions, conduct research, and provide financial and organizational support for specialist organizations. Trustees include Sunak, Murty, and Eleanor Shawcross, a former No. 10 Policy Unit director.
