Brother of NSW Police Minister Yasmin Catley charged with drug offenses after meth and cannabis found in his car.

The estranged brother of NSW Police and Counter-Terrorism Minister Yasmin Catley has been charged with drug offenses, including supplying a prohibited drug, after police found 8.06g of methylamphetamine, cash, and cannabis in his car during a search in Newcastle. The 62-year-old was granted conditional bail and is set to appear in court on March 11. Minister Catley has discussed the harm drug addiction can cause families.
