The Enforcement Directorate (ED) in India has successfully returned assets worth about ₹3,339 crore (around $452 million) to victims of a Ponzi scheme run by the Agri Gold group.
The current market value of these properties, including land and an amusement park, is estimated at over ₹6,000 crore.
The ED began investigating the Agri Gold group, which had collected deposits from nearly 19 lakh customers under the guise of real estate investments, in 2018.
