Vietnam imposes tariffs on Chinese steel imports to protect domestic industry, exempting India.

Vietnam will impose temporary anti-dumping tariffs of 19.38% to 27.83% on hot-rolled coil steel imports from China starting March 7, lasting for 120 days. This move follows similar actions by South Korea and other countries to address the surge in steel supplies from China. Imports from India are exempt due to their small market share. The tariffs aim to protect Vietnam's domestic steel industry.
