San Miguel Global Power (SMGP) plans to invest P87 billion in expanding its power capacity, including adding two 350-MW coal units to its Masinloc plant and completing a 1,320-MW gas plant in Batangas.
The company also aims to add 3,320 MW of capacity by 2028 through solar projects and small-scale LNG units for rural electrification.
