Canadian food agency recalls certain cheeses due to potential E. coli contamination.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has recalled Morbey de Scey and Raclette de Scey cheeses due to potential E. coli contamination.
The affected products with expiry dates of June 3 and October 3 are sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Quebec, and possibly other regions.
Some cheeses might be in smaller packages with or without labels and varying expiry dates.
Consumers are advised not to consume the recalled products, as E. coli can cause severe illness, including nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, and in extreme cases, can be fatal.
