Four major banks agreed to pay over £100 million in fines for sharing sensitive info on UK bonds.
Four major banks—HSBC, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, and Royal Bank of Canada—have agreed to pay over £100 million in fines to the UK's Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).
The fines were imposed due to the banks' traders sharing sensitive information about UK government bonds, known as gilts, through private Bloomberg chatrooms between 2009 and 2013.
Deutsche Bank received immunity for reporting its conduct.
