Ireland South MEP Cynthia Ní Mhurchú plans to address the issue in the EU Transport Committee, calling for urgent measures and the immediate implementation of the Action Plan for Insurance Reform. She attributes the rise to the high cost of car insurance, which has increased by over 11% in a year.
