India ships premium pomegranates to Australia for the first time, expanding its fruit exports.

India has completed its first-ever commercial sea shipment of premium pomegranates to Australia, marking a significant step in expanding market access for Indian produce. The shipments, totaling around 12.26 metric tons, were sent by sea from the Solapur region of Maharashtra, containing Sangola and Bhagwa varieties. This move, facilitated by APEDA, AgroStar, and Kay Bee Exports, underscores India's capability to supply high-quality fresh produce internationally, enhancing trade relations with Australia.
