In Ludhiana, India, six individuals have been booked for immigration fraud, duping victims with false promises of securing visas. Amit Malhotra and Veena Malhotra were arrested for failing to secure a Canadian visa after taking ₹6.5 lakh, while Krishan Kumar is accused of providing fake Dubai visas for ₹2 lakh. Vijay Singh, his wife Suneha, and brother Deepak are also charged for cheating a victim out of ₹22 lakh under similar false pretenses. The Malhotras face multiple fraud cases, including previous arrests in September 2024.
