Lahore introduces door-to-door waste collection in three areas, aiming citywide rollout by March.
The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) and the Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) have signed an agreement to introduce door-to-door waste collection in three housing schemes in Lahore, Pakistan.
The service, part of the Suthra Punjab Program, will charge residents based on property size, with fees ranging from Rs300 to Rs1,000.
The initiative aims to improve cleanliness and is expected to be fully operational citywide by the end of March.
