Conor McGregor appeals assault ruling, challenging verdict that he raped Nikita Hand in Dublin.

MMA fighter Conor McGregor has appealed a court's civil judgment that found him guilty of assaulting Nikita Hand in Dublin in late 2018, awarding her nearly €250,000 in damages. The appeal, filed on February 14, challenges the judgment that concluded McGregor raped Hand. His friend, James Lawrence, who was cleared of assault, also appealed over legal cost rulings. The case is set to be heard again on March 6.
