flag React Engineering plans to move 60 jobs to the revived Cleator Mills site in Cumbria in 2026.

React Engineering, a UK-based project management firm supporting nuclear decommissioning, plans to relocate its 60-person team to the historic Cleator Mills site in Cleator Moor in January 2026. Originally a flax mill built in 1830, the site later became Kangol's factory, supplying berets during WWII. Closed since 2009, the Cumbrian developer Genr8 North is now reviving the site with Cumberland Council's permission, creating commercial space with views of the Lake District.
