State-owned telecom company BSNL reported its first profit in 17 years with a net profit of Rs 262 crore in the third quarter, attributing its success to network expansion, cost optimization, and improved customer services. Revenue from mobility services, fiber-to-the-home, and leased lines increased by 15%, 18%, and 14% respectively, compared to the previous year. BSNL aims to exceed 20% revenue growth by the end of the financial year, while continuing to prepare for 5G deployment.
