Bexar County has appointed Michele Carew as its new Elections Administrator, succeeding Jacquelyn Callanen after a 20-year tenure. Carew, chosen from numerous candidates, brings experience from overseeing elections in Hood and Aransas counties. She will start on March 1, following a nationwide search and extensive interview process. Carew has also held leadership roles in the Texas Association of Elections Administrators.
