RHS launches "Daffodil Diaries" to track blooms and find three rare varieties across the UK.

The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) launched the "Daffodil Diaries" project to track daffodil blooms across the UK, collecting data on color, type, and height to study environmental impacts and buyer preferences. The project, running from February 12 to March 4, also aims to locate three rare varieties: Mrs R O Backhouse, a pink daffodil; Mrs William Copeland, a white double-flowered daffodil; and Sussex bonfire, a yellow and orange double-flowered variety. This initiative marks 100 years since the RHS's research saved daffodils from eelworms.
