Jason Travis Shook, a 42-year-old from North Carolina, was sentenced to 17.5 years in prison for distributing methamphetamine and possessing a firearm as a convicted felon. His prior felonies include assault and kidnapping. Law enforcement found nearly 370 grams of meth, cash, and a gun during an August 2022 traffic stop that ended in a car crash. Shook pleaded guilty and will serve five years of supervised release after his prison term.
