Three hikers were rescued Sunday night in New Hampshire after getting lost in white-out conditions.

Three hikers from Boston were rescued Sunday after sending an SOS alert from their device due to white-out conditions and cold injuries near Franconia Ridge in New Hampshire's White Mountains. They started their hike at 9 a.m. and were found near Greenleaf Hut around 9:30 p.m. Rescuers guided them back safely by 10:20 p.m. The group was training for a Mount Washington hike. Hikers are advised to prepare for harsh winter conditions.
