India plans to shift entirely to 5G by 2026, aiming to boost infrastructure and digital connectivity.

Union Minister Piyush Goyal announced at the India-Israel Business Forum that India aims to focus solely on 5G technology by the end of 2026. Goyal highlighted progress in infrastructure, including doubling port capacities, expanding airports to over 150, and plans for 225 airports in the next five to six years. He also noted the government's goal to build 30 million more homes for the poor and ensure universal access to digital connectivity and clean water.
