The Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) has unveiled plans for the Taj Bandstand luxury hotel in Mumbai, a project delayed for 17 years due to legal and environmental issues. Set to begin construction in 2025 and open in 2028, the ₹2,500 crore hotel will include 330 rooms, 85 apartments, dining options, and convention spaces. The project also includes developing four acres of public land with gardens and recreational facilities. The hotel is part of Mumbai's aim to become India's 'Convention Capital.'
