Severe storms hit New South Wales, causing flooding, power outages, and damaging winds.

Severe storms with dangerous wind gusts, large hail, and flash flooding are expected to hit the Upper Hunter region in New South Wales on February 10, according to the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM). Newcastle experienced significant rainfall and a power outage affected nearly 2,000 customers in the Cessnock area. The BOM warned of further storms and showers in eastern NSW on February 11 and 12.
